KE : Tell us a little about yourself.
DeDe : I’m DEDE. Came to America at age 5. 28 years old. Mother to a 4 year old boy.
KE – Where are you from?
DeDe : Okay, Haiti
KE – How did you get into the music business?
DeDe : Music has always been my passion and purpose. I started singing in church and branches out as I evolved.
KE – How long have you been making music?
DeDe : Professionally I’ve been making music for about 3 years now.
KE – What influences you in making Music?
DeDe : Everything. Live, relationships, hardships. Experiences.
KE – Describe your music, and what separates you from other?
DeDe : My music is evolving. I don’t classify myself as an artist who sings or creates only a particular style of music. My purpose as an instrument is to impact the lives of those who hear and embrace my sound. I believe besides naturally every artist is different, I think what may make me stand out from others especially in my community is that I truly will embody what it is to be an international artist.

DeDe : Yes my latest release is “Tounen” feat. Maki
KE – Can you give us a brief description of the creative process of your latest single/album?DeDe : The concept behind my latest work is to highlight how men aren’t always the ones at fault in relationships. The visuals represents our weakness highlighted in the garden of eden. As well as even in faults and weaknesses we are still powerful, beautiful.

DeDe : Pregnancy

DeDe : My divorce

DeDe : Armed security

DeDe : My son and myself

DeDe : I really enjoy creating, designing.
KE – What’s your strongest memory of your childhood?
DeDe : A big car accident in 2003 and my cousin was paralyzed for life, One death

DeDe : Flying. To be free, to the world from the heavens
